State Privacy Laws at Fever Pitch

A brief update to the prior article New Privacy Laws in My State here on ESACompany.com.

It’s not enough that Apple’s upstream data damming has greatly disrupted technology, publishing, and businesses of every stripe. We also are called to keep tabs on privacy legislation.

The epicenter of privacy legislation is not in Washington DC, it is at the state level.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) keeps tabs on privacy legislation on a state-by-state basis. This includes enacted laws, bills that are still in assembly or “cross chamber”, or bills that may be idling in chambers.
