The Google Cookie Crumble Continues

Google has begun depreciating its cookie technology. The impact will reach far and wide.

The behemoth has already turned-off cookies on 1% of Chrome browsers, which represents roughly 30 million users.

EMarketer is reporting the entire process will be complete by Q3 of 2024, with 100% of cookies gone. Cookies are used in nearly 4 out of 5 programmatic ad buys (78%) through Q3 of 2023, according to 33Across.
